Enviro Build Expo announces new support from NRHA

Branford, CT, April 2, 2010 - Enviro Build Expo October 13-14, 2010, CT Expo Center • Hartford, CT: The premier northeast trade show for the building marketplace. Enviro Build Expo is pleased to announce the support of the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA). The NRHA will participate in the conference program supporting the importance of the greening of our building industry. NRHA will also be hosting an east coast regional membership coffee on October 13, 2010.

From existing buildings to new construction, Enviro Build Expo showcases the latest products, services, equipment and ideas for sustainable and efficient building. Hardware Store owners and managers are a key support link to our builders. Participating in Enviro Build Expo will provide a great networking opportunity for hardware store owners/managers and builders. Commercial and residential building owners, contractors, property and facility managers, engineers, architects, developers and hardware store owners are invited to attend the two-day conference and exposition.

The NRHA’s conference session will be held on October 13th at the Enviro Build Expo. The program will cover how the green movement has gained substantial momentum in the home improvement industry over the past several years, and will explore the truths and myths around how energy efficiency and eco-friendly products and concepts are influencing the home channel. Green buildings generate an average increase of 7.5 % in value and a 6.6% improvement in return on investment, while decreasing operating costs by 8-9% according to McGraw-Hill Construction
